I remember watching an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s show “No Reservations” where he visited Reykjavik and stopped by a little hot dog stand called Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur. They were serving lamb sausages.

The first time I traveled to Iceland, I walked across the city to find the stand.

And let me tell you, this is the most amazing hot dog that I have ever tried. Every time I set foot on Iceland (whether it be a layover or an actual stay), I eat 1-2 hot dogs a day.
